On the chilly evening of Friday November 15th, Guard Isaiah Prayer and Postulant David met at the Diva Den to manifest and gossip. Faces were painted, and outfits were carefully chosen. We departed for Machine, with fabulous music playing as we drove along the Riverway!
We met up with Dusty Moorehead-Maletti at Machine, where Sweat was getting off to a marvelous start. Isaiah and David mingled with attendees, greeted newcomers, and warmly welcomed first time attendees. After about forty five minutes, we began selling raffle tickets for a 50/50 raffle in support of Sister Santa. We measured many an inseam! So many inches… of tickets sold.
Around midnight, we drew the winning number. The winner gladly accepted his cash prize, thanked the Sisters, and went on his merry way. All in all we raised $166 for Sister Santa.
Isaiah drove our fabulous postulant home, and then proceeded back to the Diva Den to demanifest. A lovely and fun night for all!
