On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Sisters, Rosetta and Freddy, and Postulant Spot all met up at PRYDE housing complex out in Hyde Park.
After confabbing with the event organizers, the layout of the day was made, and the doors opened and in came the crowds. The room was set for 115 and we had just under 100 people.
The card making went along smoothly, and we took frequent breaks to play some quick games, to do a stretch, and to serve many snacks and beverages
Decision was made to add an ugly sweater contest for 2025’s potential repeat of the event
The formula of stopping card making about 20 minutes prior to event close to give everybody a chance to help organizing and clean up, made for speedy windup for the organizers. This was begun at valentines card, making event, and has proven to be the best way to re-organize the room at the end.
