I’d like to first report that the return of Dungeons and Drag Nuns was a complete success. We raised over $600 for Lifebridge North Shore, and every dollar of that is amazing.
At Far from the Tree in Salem we saw an amazing team up of the Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. From the Sisters came Sister Brother Freddie Anne Willing as game facilitator and host. Running our raffle and engaging with the community we had Sister Ima Miracle and Postulant Tess Tosterone. Representing the Queerdos Miz Diamond Wigfall, Buster Pant and Peewee Vermin joined the stage to play the game of The Final Girl!
The story was told of the average town of something something Honeybuns, and the secret cult that was trying to summon a deadly creature. No one heeded the calls that the apocalypse was upon until it was too late! One by one, townsfolk fell to bad luck, evil cultists and giant fowl. Our audience liberally spent their raffle tickets to save the townsfolk they loved and curse the townsfolk they loved less! Every ticket sold supported the amazing work of Lifebridge North Shore! Eventually, due to overwhelming support from the crowd, and a bribe that went to support the amazing work of Lifebridge North Shore, we had two Final Girls! Our survivors were Diadra the star whose boobs were sooo boobs and Bob who always had confetti!
A grand time was had by all. We hope to see you in August when we’ll be playing For the Queen, as a benefit for NAGLY.
