Boston Sisters Help Artbeat 2018 Attendees ‘Flip’ Their Faces for the Evening
Sisters, Somerville Arts Council team to change points of view |
BOSTON – On July 14, from The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgencewill join the Somerville Arts Council (SAC), more than a dozen bands, dance troupes, and 75 craft vendors as the area’s largest arts festival takes over Davis Square.
According to the SAC, this year’s “ArtBeattheme is “flip”, a celebration of all things upside down, backwards and sideways.” Participants are invited to explore how flipping things around can change points of view. From works of art to changing one’s mind, festival goers will be experience a welcoming environment to challenge their perspectives.
During this year’s festival, the Sisters will be on site to promote universal joy and non-judgmentalism while also helping attendees enjoy flipping their faces with fantasy face painting.
