On Wednesday, June 20, the first day of summer – the first hot and sticky day of summer – the first outrageously oppressive hot and sticky day of summer, Point Nun Eunice was joined for communal manifesting at The Convent by Srs. KrisTall Mighty and Sandra Musique, as well as NSr. Frieda B. Fabulous. They were well on time, and despite horrid traffic they arrived at the World Trade Center Pier right at 5:30 PM. Shortly after they were joined by Sr. Rosetta Stone (who faced up in her car in the basement of the parking garage across the street – YOU GO!), and also our photojournalist Meg.
We started by greeting folks and adorning them with Sisterly leis. During this time a few of us suffered from dehydration and minor heat
strokes. Point Nun Eunice’s face began it’s long, sad slide down onto her tailcoat dress. Did I say the heat and humidity were oppressive???
We saw our dear Sr. Teresa Solution, who was working it for Fenway under such a secular name as John O’Connell. And we are always happy to see TS!
We took to the decks on our knees and for the entire duration of the cruise sold raffle tickets right up until the very end, netting ~$1470 for Fenway Community Health.
Blessed Be!
