Ok Sister’s I am back and here are the details on THE PARADE, events that I have been told we should attend after the parade will follow.
Date: Saturday, June 12th
Expected Participation: 15,000 Marchers
Expected Attendance 1.2M People
Sister Marshalls: Ophelia & Eunice are your official points of contact between The Sisters and any Parade Staff. Please direct your questions to us, not the staff. In doing so you should refer to us as Marshall Sister Eunice and Marshall Novice Sister Ophelia. We will also be wearing Marshall Lanyards, which you can’t, they were justly deserved after, Ill write it again, spending a Friday night at that fucking boring Pride Marshall orientation. Nonetheless, we earned the Lanyards and we shall wear them proudly. FYI, I could be bought if you really want my Lanyard.
Now here is the PARADE Schedule:
6am-9:45am: Mimosa Manifestation hosted by your Marshall Sister’s Ophelia and Eunice at The Convent of The Commonwealth
10:00: Commute by Cab to Tremont and Rutland Street . DO NOT DRIVE EVERYTHING IS FULL AND OVERPRICED ITS CHEAPER TO TAXI IT & SPLIT THE FARE .
10:15-10:30: Registration. GROUPS MUST BE ASSEMBLED NO LATER THAN 10:30. NO EXCEPTIONS.
12:00: Moment of Silence. The Moment of silence is a moment to honor the people who cannot march in this years parade. They include those who are no longer with us because of AIDS and Homophobic Viuolence and those who live under oppresive regines that do not permit Pride marches or Homosexuality. The expectation is that at 12 NOON WE ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP and that all of Tremont Street fall as silent as possible.
12:01 The Parade Starts: Keep the pace of the parade and avoid gaps. Parade gaps that is. Marshall’s Ophelia and Eunice will be peforming routine GAP CHECKS, so don’t fuck up.
