On June 3, 2012 the Sisters Eunice X, KrisTall Mighty, Rosetta Stone, and Sandra Musique, Novice Sisters Bimea Ferrari and Frieda B Fabulous and Aspirant Erica met up at the Convent at the wee crack of dawn to manifest for the 2012 Boston AIDS Walk. They were met by the lovely and charming Meg Birnbaum and then they all headed to the Hatch Shell to bring cheer and glitter to the masses. Due to a fortunate misunderstanding on Sandra’s part, the Sisters arrive early enough to take lots of pictures and still have time to cheer on the runners (one of whom was running for the Sister’s team). Then they proceeded to the starting line for the Walk and cheered the walkers on before moving to a more permanent spot at the Finish Line. They cheered, and clapped, and posed for pictures. Rosetta even found time to teach the Novices the meaning of the word “pushy”. After the Walkers were all back, the Sisters took the scenic way through the Public Garden before returning to the Convent. Their team raised a total of $2,658 for the AIDS Action Committee.
