We were, once again, greeted with open arms, wagging tails, and so much love. While on the way down the three of us discussed the pet play community and decided to invoke, emphasize, and bless the Play.
So…. Betty introduced the Sisters & then Ima blessed our Heads, Shoulders, Knees & Toes, Knees & Toes AND Eyes and Ears and Snouts and Tails… to much laughter, much butt-wiggling, and much fun. Stella, then, exclaimed our Creed and then we took up our post by the auction baskets for the night.
Our love & adoration goes to all the contestants. But it was Pup Oslo and Handler Bard from Philadelphia who took home sashes last night. May their title year build upon the successes and lessons learned from previous years. And may they remind us to be our authentic selves, in all ways, while celebrating PLAY in all forms.
