Dear Sisters,
I am so grateful for the positive feedback regarding the postulant outfit. For the record, and for re-creation purposes, the pattern is McCall’s M6117, dress A. Fabric is a cotton chino in stone. Wimple/veil uses the same fabric as the dress and measures 18 x 28 with a 2 inch white stretch poplin band on the front. Dress was originally envisioned with a white collared shirt like a polo or button front shirt, but something more feminine would totally work. As would wearing it by itself in the summer. Dress is shown with a split in the front, but I just stitched it straight across at the neck.
I have very little stitching experience, so any feedback would be TOTALLY welcome.
